One day we saw an ad in the classifieds for white German shepherd puppies. Susan had always wanted a white shepherd, so Cindi secretly went to check them out. Unfortunately, the pups were from a backyard breeder. We don’t condone such practices, but Cindi fell in love with one of the white balls of fluff who was braver than all the others and came out of hiding to greet her. She gave the man $75 and took her home then and there. What a birthday present for Susan! From the very beginning Maggie has been pure joy. She is smart as a tack, gentile as a lamb, and as loyal as they come. She is a Canine Good Citizen, a registered Therapy Dog, and has earned her UKC Agility 1 Title and has passed her Sheep Herding instinct testing and first leg of her JHT Title. And did we mention that she is a ball freak? It doesn’t matter where or how you throw it…she’ll catch it!
