Dee Dee

(UKC CH Royal Day of Desire, CGC)

                           

Dee Dee is from breeder Jean Reeves’ Royal line and is a UKC Champion. Somewhere along the way, Dee became skittish around judges and got picked on by Jean’s pack. Jean thought Dee might do better in a family setting with only a dog or two and asked us if we wanted to see how she would do with us. Dee took to Susan right away and soon Cindi won her over as well. Maggie helped the cause by letting Dee be the alpha dog and it helped her confidence. We bred her and she had one pup, but unfortunately due to complications during delivery she had to be spayed. Her show days are over, but Dee is a great dog. She still has issues with being comfortable around other people, but around us she is the most loving and happy dog you could ever find. She is the princess, the prima donna – she doesn’t like to get wet, dirty or muddy, but loves to be brushed and pampered.
